Parade Begins at 6:00 PM

The Nap's Thriftway Children's Parade kicks off the four day weekend festival on the last Thursday of July. Young and older participants parade through the streets in costumes related to the year's theme, dressed as the kiddo's favorite heroes or characters. This parade is for children and fun for the whole family.

How to participate

No need to register, just show up on Thursday, July 24, 2025

Staging Begins: 5:00 PM
Parade Begins:  6:00 PM   
Start & Line Up: E. 6th St. & S. School St. 
Ends: E. 6th St. & Edwards St.
      Long time sponsor Nap's Thriftway provides free beverages and snacks to parade participants at end of the route.
Children's Parade Guidelines & Recommendations

• Motorized vehicles or transports not allowed in this parade
• Start to finish usually takes about 1 hour
• All children receive a participation ribbon
• Costumes are not required but are encouraged
• Pets are welcome so bring your dogs and dress them up
• No gas powered vehicles are allowed
